Includes
WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, Platelet Count, MPV and Differential (Absolute and Percent - Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, and Basophils). If abnormal cells are noted on a manual review of the peripheral blood smear or if the automated differential information meets specific criteria, a full manual differential will be performed at an additional charge (cpt 85007)
Preferred Specimen
Whole blood collected in a full EDTA (Lavender-top) tube, or minimum of 0.5 mL in Microtainer EDTA (Lavender-top) tube

Patients that exhibit platelet clumps may benefit from having a second sample drawn in Sodium Citrate and tested for platelets only.

Limitations
