Container/Tube: SWUBE disposable paddle (Falcon)
Collection Instructions: 



1. Because of migratory habits of female pinworm, specimen is best obtained a few hours after patient has retired or in morning immediately upon rising and before bathing or bowel movement.
2. Hold paddle by cap, and remove it from tube.
3. Separate buttocks, and press tacky surface against several areas of perianal area.
4. Replace paddle in tube for transport to laboratory.
5. Label tube with patient’s full name (first and last), date and actual time of collection, and physician’s name.
