Swab
Container/Tube: Sterile rayon swab or sterile BD BBL CultureSwab with Liquid Stuarts Media
Swab with cotton tip or wooden shaft is not recommended.
Collection Instructions: Label container with patient’s name (first and last) and date and actual time of collection.
Note: Specimen source is required.
Wet Prep Solution
The solution remaining in a test tube used for a wet mount may also be used as a specimen.
