Hepatitis Bc Antibody, IgM (Anti-HBc [IgM]), Serum
Hepatitis Bs Antigen (HBsAg), Serum
Hepatitis C Antibody (Anti-HCV), Serum

If HBsAg is positive, confirmation by neutralization is performed at an additional charge.

The following specimens will not be tested:
    A. Heat-treated specimen
    B. Hemolyzed specimen
    C. Heparinized specimen
    D. Lipemic specimen
    E. Obvious microbial contamination
    F. Specimen containing particulate matter, precipitate, red blood cells, or sodium azide

Negative (reported as positive or negative) Interpretation depends on clinical setting.


Clinical Significance
Useful for screening and/or diagnosis of hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. This panel does not screen for hepatitis A vaccination/immunity or past infection. This panel does not screen for hepatitis B vaccination.
