Methodology
"Copper Sulfate Reduction Useful as a screen for galactosuria, pentosuria, and renal glycosuria. Reducing substances will be performed on all urine specimens from children <2 years of age to detect the presence of reducing sugars other than glucose, such as galactose, fructose, pentose, and lactose. "
