Specimen stable 2 hours room temp., refrigerated up to 24 hours. Use of Urine Culture tube - Stable for 48 hours at room temp. or refrigerated.


Reference Range
Critical Value: All positives, patients < 3 years of age


Clinical Significance
The culture is designed to quantitate the growth of significant bacteria when collected by clean catch guidelines or from indwelling catheters
