0.5 mL serum collected in a red-top tube (no gel)


Patient Preparation
Overnight fasting is preferred.

Instructions
Allow blood to clot (10-15 minutes) at room temperature. Separate serum from cells and refrigerate. If sample collected in glass collection tube, transfer to plastic container.
