Collect:  Duodenal or gastric biopsy.

Specimen Preparation

Preserve in enteric transport media (Cary-Blair) immediately (ARUP supply #29799) available online through eSupply using ARUP Connector contact ARUP Client Services at (800) 522-2787. Brucella broth, BHI, or equivalent with or without 10-20 percent glycerol is also acceptable.
