Preferred Specimen
UR (0)  Urine Random, 1st morning Urine is preferred.


Instructions

Urine:  First morning urine specimen is preferred since it contains the highest concentration of hCG hormone.  Random urine specimens may also be used.



Collection:  Collect specimen in a clean, sterile, and dry container. Urine samples containing visible precipitates should be allowed to settle prior to testing.

Clinical Significance
The hCG uHCG Combo Rapid Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human hCG in urine to aid in the early detection ofpregnancy. The test detects elevated levels of hCG.
