CUTOFF POINTS for Rubella IgG Abs:
Less than 10 IU/mL: Non reactive (consistent with absence of immunity)
10 - 15 IU/mL: Equivocal (consider repeat sample. CDC considers this status to be "rubella- susceptible")
Greater than 15 IU/mL: Reactive (consistent with immunity from vaccination or past or active infection)
A follow up sample should be taken to further evaluate Immune status for Indeterminate value.
