Specimen Stability
Urine is stable for 24 hrs room temp; refrigerated 6 days
Urine in transport tube: 30 days refrigerated; 3 days room temp
Female swabs: 60 days refrigerated or room temp


Methodology
XPERT CT/NG is a qualitative real-time PCR for the detection and differentiation of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and/or Neisseria gonorrhoeae DNA.
