Instructions
Collect specimen at 35 to 37 weeks gestation using non-speculum exam. Using a single swab or two separate swabs,
swab the distal vagina (vaginal introitus), followed by the rectum (i.e., insert swab through the anal sphincter). Can place swabs that have been used for both sites in one container.
