Instructions
gently insert the swab through the nose to the posterior nasopharynx; allow to remain for a few seconds to absorb moisture of the area, rotate several times and gently withdraw. The hydration of the specimen must be maintained by a holding medium.

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Specimen received in a dry container. Specimen received longer than six hours after collection.
