Clinical Significance
In vitro diagnostic test for the qualitative and semi-quantitative measurement of benzodiazepines in urine. This screen is used in the diagnosis and treatment of benzodiazepine use or overdose.  An alternate method (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) must be used as a confirmatory result.  Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied particularly when preliminary positive results are used.
