Clinical Significance
In vitro diagnostic test for the qualitative determination of amphetamines in human urine used in the diagnosis and treatment of amphetamine use or overdose.  Amphetamines are CNS stimulants that produce wakefulness, alertness, increased energy, reduced hunger, and an overall feeling of well being.
