Instructions
Centrifuge for complete separation of serum and red cells, but DO NOT aliquot.  Refrigerate or freeze within two (2) hours of collection time.

2-8°C up to 3 days; otherwise freeze


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
The following conditions will result in a rejected speciment:
  • Hemolyzed samples
  • Lipemic samples
  • Aliquotted samples

Clinical Significance
This panel is used for the diagnosis of monoclonal gammopathies and eliminates the need for urine monoclonal studies as part of the initial screen for monoclonal gammopathies other than light chain amyloidosis.
