1 Green tube (Lithium heparin)


Instructions
Separate serum or plasma from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.  If gel separator tube is not used, aliquot (transfer) plasma into a standard transport tube and refrigerate until tested.

  • 15-30C up to 8 hours
  • 2-8C up to 2 days
  • -20C up to 30 days


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Severely hemolyzed or QNS samples will be rejected.
