Clinical Significance
This test is intended as an aid in identifying individuals with antibodies to SARS-CoV-2.  A positive result indicates an immune response to a recent or prior infection with SARS-CoV-2.  This test would not be expected to detect an immune response to a spike vaccine.  It is unknown how long antibodies persist following infection or if the presence of antibodies confers protective immunity.  This assay should not be used to diagnose acute SARS-CoV-2 infection.
