Thin Prep samples are stable 6 weeks at Room Temperature or Refrigerated; Digene Cervical Brush samples are stable 3 weeks Refrigerated

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)

The following will result in a specimen rejection:

Samples submitted in the wrong collection container
Specimen not labeled with TWO patient identifiers
Specimen submitted with a lubricant containing carbomers
