Note: All specimens stored frozen must be completely thawed at room temperature before running.

Specimen Stability

  • Note:  Samples will automatically be frozen if negative, and kept for 7 days.

  • 2 to 8ºC up to 3 days

  • -20ºC up to 30 days




Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
The following conditions will result in a rejected specimen:
  • Quantity Not Sufficient (QNS)
  • Leaking or contaminated samples
  • Alinity m Multi-Collect Specimen Collection Kit
