Clean top of collection bottle or tube with alcohol pad prior to inoculation

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)

The following conditions will result in a rejected sample:

EDTA samples
Heparin samples
Specimen submitted in anticoagulant other than SPS
