Centrifuge for complete separation of serum and red cells.  Transfer serum into a transfer tube.  May remain at room temp until tested.

Refrigerate or room temperature

  • 2-8°C up to 7 days (Red top or Li Hep)
  • 2-8°C up to 24 hours (Gold top)

M, T, W, Th, F, Sa, Sun

Report Available
Within 24 hours of receipt at the performing laboratory.
Stat testing is available.

Reference Range
10-30 ug/mL

Clinical Significance
Monitor therapeutic drug level. Evaluate toxicity of acetaminophen ingestion.
