Myco/F Lytic Blood Culture Bottle
Instructions
Blood (venous or arterial)
1. Prepare the site using iodine or chlorhexidine. Similarly, wipe the rubber diaphragm on the blood culture bottles.
2. Allow the disinfectant to dry completely.
3. Collect the blood and inoculate bottles.
4. Submit bottle in a ziplock bag in case of leakage.
5. DO NOT INCUBATE prior to submission. Submit at room temperature.
