Instructions
Serum for a peak concentration should be drawn 1 hour after administration of oral tiagabine. Serum for a trough concentration is usually drawn 30 minutes before dose.

Clinical Significance
Tiagabine (Gabitril) is indicated as adjunctive therapy in adults and children 12 years and older in the treatment of partial seizures.
