Instructions
***THIS TEST MUST BE DRAWN IN WRJ LAB DUE TO SPECIMEN REQUIREMENTS****
DRAW 3 RED TOP TUBES.
1. Draw sample and immediately wrap in warming pack and send upstairs
2. Bring sample back to micro and place in the quant incubator (37°C)
3. Print long form and place on senout counter with time sample was
placed in incubator.
4. Let sample clot in incubator for 2 hours.
5. Spin and separate serum into separate tube.
6. Separated serum is stable for at least a week kept at room temperature.
Samples collected late in the day can be sent next day, samples collected
late on Friday can be held at room temperature and sent to DHMC on
Monday.
