Instructions
Call lab before ordering, specimen must be received by DHMC within 24 hours. You must list the drug you want to look for in the comment field. Draw TWO EDTA (lavender tubes) and FOUR- 10mL red top tubes. DO NOT SPIN OR SEPARATE, SEND SPECIMENS TO DMHC, must be received within 24 hours. Supply drug to be indicated. Need medication and platelet count history.

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
