Instructions
DRAW 1 LAV EDTA WHOLE BLOOD SAMPLE, SEND TO DHMC <24 HRS OLD. SEND ROOM TEMPERATURE. SEND NA HEPARIN TUBE ROOM TEMPERATURE. INCLUDE CBC REPORT WITH SAMPLE. MUST order a CBC in addition to this order! Must send a copy of CBC results. Special DHMC REQUEST form needs to be filled out and sent with specimen. Collect in EDTA for receipt within 24 hours AND sodium heparin (for receipt later than 24 hours). Store specimen at room temperture. TISSUE-Sample must be diluted with RPMI 1640 to twice the TOTAL VOLUME of sample. Keep sample at ROOM TEMPERATURE and label as such.
