Instructions
Collect unformed (liquid or soft) stool specimen (i.e. specimen takes the shape of the container) in a clean, leak proof container. Fill no more than halfway. Include the time the sample was collected on the label.
Only one specimen per patient will be tested in a seven day period unless otherwise approved by the Infectious Disease Service.
Once a positive result is obtained re-testing within a 30 day period requires approval from the Infectious Disease Service.
