Patient Preparation
Special Instructions: Ordering this test will trigger the Litholink At-Home testing kit to be sent directly your patient. This testing requires the use
of Litholink's At-Home testing kit and preservative. Please mark/state the 24-hour urine volume.
Follow instructions obtained in the kit including Vitamin ingestion.

Special instructions: Call lab for special test requisition. Requision must be filled out and sent to lab. Lab will obtain PO and fax
requisition to Litholink. Litholink will send the patient a collection kit. Results will be faxed to lab and scanned into patient chart.

KIT Sent at Room Temperature, only has a 96 hr travel time
Volume 40 mL of 24-hour urine Minimum Volume 40 mL of 24-hour urine Collection Included preservative functions as a volume
marker must be added to the main collection container at the beginning of collection and then return a 40 mL aliquot of the 24-hour urine per
collection. Full 24-hour collection: Void and discard first urine and continue to collect for 24-hour period from that void time. All samples must
