Fresh stool in a sterile leak-proof container. 
Outpatient, Systems Hospitals and UML client stool submissions must be sent in ParaPak SAF transport media or Carey Blair Transport Media.

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Specimens containing barium; contaminated outer surface of container; and specimens contaminated with urine or toilet water will be rejected. No more than one specimen per day will be performed.
