MessageSweat collections are performed by Pulmonary Function Lab personnel (304-598-3243). Scheduled collections are performed M-F from 8am to 3pm. Physician offices can schedule sweat collection by calling 304-598-4147.

Instructions
Sweat samples are collected by Ruby Memorial Pulmonary Function Lab personnel and testing must be pre-scheduled as above. Sample analysis is performed in the Chemistry Lab. Specimen needs to be delivered to the Chemistry Lab immediately after collection.
Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Inadequate sweat collection. Inadequate collections can occur when patients are dehydrated or have skin rashes in the collection areas.
