A. Flocked E-swabs in liquid medium: Following collection, swab is broken off inside white-capped tube containing1 mL of fluid transport medium. Used forstains, aerobic cultures & fungal cultures.
B. Plastic shaft/foam tip with transport container.
C. Wooden shaft/cotton tip submitted in a sterile tube
