Clinical Significance
Aspergillus is a group of molds. Aspergillosis ranges in severity and includes allergy-type illness, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, aspergillus sinusitis, aspergilloma, and invasive aspergillosis. Infection is more common in patients who are immunocompromised. Earlier diagnosis contributes to effective medical treatment.
