Other tests that can be performed from the Thinprep Pap Vial includes: High Risk HPV, HPV Genotyping 16,18/45, C. trachomatis/N. gonorrhea, Trichomonas vaginalis. The additional tests must be indicated on the Gyne Pap requisition.

The following conditions will result in a rejected specimen:

Specimen submitted in the wrong collection container
Specimen not labeled with TWO patient identifiers
Specimen collected with an unapproved lubricant
