Plasma collected in an EDTA (lavender-top), EDTA (pink-top), sodium heparin (green-top), 3.2% sodium citrate (light blue-top) or ACD solution B (yellow-top) tube


Instructions
Promptly centrifuge and separate serum or plasma into a plastic screw-cap vial using approved guidelines.

Wrap tube in aluminum foil to protect from light. Testing will be cancelled if sample is not light protected. The use of serum separator tubes is not recommended.
