Instructions
Freeze serum within one hour of time drawn. With multiple tests, submit a separate tube for each test.
Do not use gel barrier tubes. Do not submit the sample in a glass tube. Do not thaw.

Clinical Significance
Immune Complex Detection by C1q Binding is useful in diagnosing and monitoring immune complex diseases such as vasculitis, systemic lupus erythematosis, glomulonephritis, diffuse interstitial lung disease, and neoplastic diseases. The test may also have prognostic value.
