5 mL amniotic fluid in a sterile container or
5 mg chorionic villi in culture media or
5 X 5 mm formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue block or
5 X 5 mm fresh tissue in sterile container in Hank's Ringer's solution or culture transport medium


Minimum Volume
Bone marrow or Whole blood: 1 mL

Sodium heparin (royal blue-top) • Sodium heparin lead-free (tan-top)


Instructions
Specimen viability decreases during transit. Send specimen to testing lab for viability.
