Clinical Significance
Paliperidone is an atypical antipsychotic drug. It is identical to 9-hydroxyrisperidone, the pharmacological active metabolite of Risperidone, and has a similar pharmacological profile as Risperidone. For treatment optimization, monitoring Paliperidone serum concentrations may be useful.
