Clinical Significance
Anti-acetylcholine receptor binding antibodies (anti-AChR) are associated with Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and are found in approximately 85% of MG patients. Approximately 8% to 10% of all MG cases and 20% to 50% of generalized MG cases who lack anti-AChR antibodies have autoantibodies against muscle-specific kinase (anti-MuSK).
