Instructions
Collect Vaginal then rectal specimen with the same swab from pregnant individuals at 36-37 weeks of gestation. Transfer swab to Liquid Stuart media or Amies media (eSwab).


Transport Temperature
Refrigerated (cold packs)


Specimen Stability
Room temperature: 24 hours
Refrigerated: 6 days
Frozen: Unacceptable


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Any transport media not listed as acceptable
