28 mL plasma collected in EDTA (lavender-top) tubes

Instructions
ATTENTION: Do not use pipets to transfer plasma - pour off only.
Collect blood into a K2 EDTA Plasma tube and mix by inversion 10 times. Centrifuge within 1 hour of collection. Carefully transfer plasma via pour off into a clear 12x75 mm polypropylene transport tube(s) with clear plug cap. DO NOT use colored capped transport vials. Store frozen.
Note: Quest Diagnostics does not perform this test for individuals under the age of 18. Pre-test and post-test counseling is strongly recommended.
