Preferred Specimen
Serum separator tube SST, or green (Lithium Heparin or Sodium Heparin)


Instructions
Allow serum tube to clot completely at room temperature. Centrifuge within 30 minutes of collection. Transport 1 ml serum or plasma (min 0.5 mL).

Specimen Stability
After separation from cells: Ambient 24 hours; Refrigerated 1 week; Frozen 1 month.
