Preferred Specimen
Serum separator tube SST, or Green (Lithium Heparin)


Instructions
Allow serum tube to clot completely at room temperature. Centrifuge within 30 minutes. Transport 1 ml serum or plasma (min 0.5 mL).

Specimen Stability
After separation from cells: Ambient 4 hours; Refrigerated 3 days; Frozen 1 month.
