Preferred Specimen
Serum separator tube SST, or Green (Lithium Heparin or Sodium Heparin)


Instructions
Allow serum tube to clot completely at room temperature. Centrifuge within 30 minutes of collection.


Transport Temperature
Room temp while processing and refrigerate for transport and long term storgage


Specimen Stability
After separation from cells: Ambient 8 hours; Refrigerated 24 hours; Frozen 4 weeks.
