Instructions
Completely fill Blue Top (Sodium Citrate) tube. Improperly filled tubes will not be accepted. Mix sample immediately by gently inverting at least 6 times.
Transport Temperature
If transport time will exceed 4 hours, send platlet-poor plasma frozen to -20C or less

;Whole Blood: Ambient 4 hours; Refrigerated Unacceptable; Frozen Unacceptable.
After seperation from cells: Ambient 4 hours; Refrigerated 4 hours; Frozen 2 weeks.
After seperation from cells: Ambient 4 hours; Refrigerated 4 hours; Frozen 2 weeks.
Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Improperly filled tubes, clotted or hemolyzed.
