Preferred Specimen
Serum separator tube (SST), or Green (Lithium Heparin)


Instructions
Allow serum tube to clot completely at room temperature. Centrifuge within 30 minutes of collection. Transport 1 ml serum or plasma (min 0.5 mL).

Refrigerate


Specimen Stability
After separation from cells: Ambient 24 hours; Refrigerated 2 weeks; Frozen 3 months.
