Instructions
Only order if the patient has had 3 liquid stools in 24 hours AND at least one sign/symptom of a C. diff infection such as: fever, elevated WBC, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, imaging evidence of infection etc.
Only one negative screen will be tested per 7 day time period or one positive screen per 14 day time period.
