Clinical Significance
An in vitro diagnostic test for the qualitative detection of varicella-zoster infection in cutaneous or mucocutaneous lesion (dermal lesions, mouth lesions and genital lesions, etc) samples from symptomatic patients.
The amplification and detection of target sequences is performed using isothermal Helicase-Dependent Amplification (HDA) in the presence of target-specific fluorescence probes.
