Clinical Significance
The anti-HAV IgG assay is used for the qualitative detection of antibody to hepatitis A virus (IgG anti-HAV) in heman adult and pediatric serum from patients with signs and symptoms of, or at risk for Hepatitis A. The assay is also used to determine the immune status of individuals to hepatitis A virus infections.
