Arthropods placed in laboratory grade dilutions of ethanol (70 - 90%).
Skin scrapings in 10% formalin or laboratory grade dilutions of ethanol (70 - 90%).


Instructions
Skin Scrapings (for scabies): Using mineral oil on scalpel blade, scrape the papule and submit scrapings on a glass microscope slide. Cover and secure with a second glass microscope slide. Place in empty petri dish for transport.
